in 2023 Jagex introduced a new combat style to Runescape. The first such an extremely game-changing update. The addition was the combat style of necromancy.

necromancy prompted many players who were unfound in their combat tactics to pursue and learn player versus monster content. It has quickly become the most widely used style for most bosses in the game and has continued to produce amazing results for players learning the style. Necromancy is said to be simple to use and very learnable, especially when compared to other combat styles.

my personal favourite way to kill a boss is by using tank armour, which reduces damage taken as much as possible. Necromancy accounts for this; with doing the combat style upgrades comes a hard-to-beat tank armour that i enjoy using very much. I have mentioned that i do not do player versus monster boss content but some monsters must be killed for daily progress such as a daily slayer task which i can just afk with necromancy tank armour.
